Evidence That Drives Change
At SAKA International CIC, research is central to our mission. Through our collaboration with TLSPH Ltd, we gather and analyse data that deepens understanding of women’s health and wellbeing across diverse communities. Our findings guide our projects, shape policy discussions, and ensure that every initiative we deliver is grounded in evidence and real-world impact.
Our Focus Areas
We conduct and support research in the following core areas:
- Maternal and Child Health Linked to our Baby & Me programme, this stream examines maternal wellbeing, post-natal care, and early childhood health in both local and international contexts.
- Mental Health and Trauma Recovery Connected to TearDrop, this research explores emotional resilience, grief support, and culturally sensitive approaches to trauma healing for women and families.
- Education and Empowerment In line with Iqraa, our studies focus on the transformative role of education in improving women’s social and economic opportunities.
- Community Health and Awareness Investigating how health literacy, outreach, and preventative care improve outcomes for women globally.
Collaboration with TLSPH Ltd
Our partnership with TLSPH Ltd ensures scientific integrity in every study we conduct. Together, we design research frameworks, collect field data, and apply robust analysis to translate findings into action. This collaboration allows us to bridge the gap between community engagement and academic research — producing knowledge that matters.
Research Outputs
We actively publish and share insights through:
- Peer-reviewed articles and internal reports
- Conference presentations and community briefings
- Infographics and data dashboards for public understanding
- Ongoing and upcoming studies accessible through our website
(Downloadable reports and summaries will be available soon.)
Ethics and Impact
We uphold the highest ethical standards in all our research activities. All data is anonymised, participation is voluntary, and every study is reviewed to ensure cultural sensitivity and respect. Our ultimate goal is to transform data into meaningful action — improving lives, informing services, and advancing equality in women’s health worldwide.
